President
Barrett joined Adhesion Wealth in 2004 and is one of the original founders of Adhesion Wealth. As President of Adhesion Wealth, Barrett oversees the strategic direction and long-term growth plans for the organization. During his time at Adhesion Wealth, Barrett has overseen the firm’s Product, Relationship Management, Investment Consulting, Model Management, and Portfolio Management groups.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Barrett served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Wachovia Securities and has held a number of senior-level strategic posts with Fidelity Investments and Broadridge.
Chief Information Officer
As one of the original founders of Adhesion Wealth, Trey has been with the company from the beginning. Today, as Chief Information Officer, Trey oversees Adhesion Wealth's engineering, infrastructure, and product teams. In the early years, Trey was responsible for defining the original mission of the company as well as raising the capital to launch it.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Trey served as a technology consultant with EDS’ US Banking Division and a Systems Engineer with General Motors’ Plant Automation Division.
Senior Director, Business Development
Kevin joined Adhesion Wealth in 2014 and has an extensive background in managed account and investment outsourcing. As Senior Director of Business Development, Kevin oversees our Sales and Account Management teams to ensure Adhesion Wealth is not only growing our presence in the RIA community, but also helping our clients grow.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Kevin held positions at Sungard, SEI, and New England Financial.
Director of Overlay Portfolio Management
Jordan joined Adhesion Wealth in 2019. As the Director of Overlay Portfolio Management, Jordan oversees the strategic direction of Adhesion Wealth’s digital platform.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Jordan served as Assistant Vice President of Overlay Portfolio Management with LPL Financial where he was responsible for the firm’s UMA and mutual fund/ETF wrap platforms. Jordan holds an MBA and BA in Mathematics/Applied Science from the University of California, San Diego.
Senior Director, Advisor Support
Alex joined Adhesion Wealth in 2020 and heads the strategic design and delivery of Adhesion Wealth’s service experience. This includes the client onboarding care that sets RIAs up for success on Adhesion’s platform as well as all ongoing service needs.
Prior to joining Adhesion Wealth, Alex spent 12 years at Vanguard, where he worked his way up through the ranks leading service teams through model transformations, managing a $25 billion book of business, defining Vanguard’s 529 strategy and eventually serving as Head of Client Transitions in the retail division. Alex holds a B.S. from Elon University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. He is a CFP® and is well-versed in the needs of RIAs and their clients.
Senior Director, Consulting
Andrew joined Adhesion Wealth in 2020 and leads both the investment consulting and account management teams, enhancing the firm’s asset manager platform and promoting practice management solutions for Adhesion’s RIA clients.
Prior to joining Adhesion Wealth, Andrew spent 15 years at Nuveen/TIAA Investments, eventually serving as Senior Director of Client Portfolio Management, where he focused on communicating the firm’s asset management expertise to institutional clients, including strategies across fixed income, equities and commercial real estate. Andrew holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The CFA Society North Carolina.
Manager, Systems Administrator
Jason joined Adhesion Wealth in 2012. As Manager of Adhesion Wealth’s Systems department, Jason oversees day to day IT operations. This includes maintaining the Adhesion Wealth platform as well as strategic and long-term planning for Adhesion Wealth's Systems. He is also responsible for keeping the department in line with the organizations growth and ensuring stability.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Jason served as a Project Manager and Systems Engineer at an IT Managed Services Provider for 5 years where he was responsible for designing and implementing solutions for small to medium business clients.
Director, Overlay Portfolio Management
Lisa joined Adhesion Wealth in 2006. As our Director of Overlay Portfolio Management, she is responsible for overseeing the execution of all investment-related tasks by Adhesion Wealth's Portfolio Management Team. Adhesion Wealth's Portfolio Operations team is also under Lisa’s direction. She is responsible for overseeing that all portfolio operational tasks are completed with accuracy. Lisa has been involved in our Overlay Portfolio Management program since its inception and has been a key contributor to its rapid success.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Lisa served as Operations Manager for 6 years at Howe and Rusling, an RIA firm based out of Rochester, New York.
Director, Software Development
Robert joined Adhesion Wealth in 2006 and has been an integral part of overseeing the engineering of the Adhesion Wealth platform. As the Director of Development, he is responsible for developing and maintaining all of the various software applications that make up the Adhesion Wealth offering. His team of full-stack developers handle all aspects of the software development lifecycle, utilizing the latest tools and frameworks to provide robust applications for our clients.
Prior to Adhesion Wealth, from 1995 to 2001, Robert built and ultimately sold an engineering firm that developed custom enterprise software solutions. His clients were companies from a variety of industries including Retail, Banking, and Oil & Gas Exploration.
Chief Executive Officer
John Lunny co-founded Vestmark, Inc. in 2001, a wealth management technology firm that, under John’s leadership and lasting vision, has grown to serve some of the industry’s largest financial services firms and now supports over 4.5 million investor accounts and more than $1.4 trillion in assets.
In 2018, EY named John Entrepreneur of the Year®, Financial Services, recognizing his excellence in innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to the industry and his community. He was also named FinTech Person of the Year at the 2019 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards.
Prior to joining Vestmark, John helped launch a machine learning company, DataSage, which provided data analytics to e-commerce firms and which was later acquired by the Vignette Corporation where John ran the Boston development office.
Earlier in his career, John was an Internet software engineer having worked at firms like The Wollongong Group and the MIT Laboratory of Computer Science.

Chief Financial Officer
Mark Donohue joined Vestmark in August 2018 as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overseeing Financial Planning, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Investor Relations.
Prior to Vestmark, Mark served nearly three years at Rapid7, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, in numerous executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Treasury & Investor Relations. He led the company through a strategic acquisition and helped stimulate the company to new business growth and stock appreciation. Before this, Mark held multiple Director-level positions at Cisco Systems and Starent Networks, navigating those companies through significant business transformations in the wake of shifting market dynamics in the mobile telecommunications industry.
He also worked at IDC, a technology research firm, and Ferris Baker Watts, a full-service investment bank, which was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2009. Mark held Series 7, 86, and 87 licenses and published sell-side research on numerous companies in the technology sector.
Mark began his career at Teradyne and Quantum, where he held financial management roles in both the Accounting and Corporate Finance groups.
Mark holds a BS in Business Administration & Finance from the University of New Hampshire and received both his MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.
Chief People Officer
Nick Thurlow joined Vestmark in April 2019 as Chief People Officer, responsible for human resources strategy and services, including nurturing and strengthening Vestmark’s culture in support of its business objectives. He leads all talent management, employee engagement, compensation, benefits and organizational development programs to uphold the company’s reputation as a best place to work.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Nick spent 5 years at InterGen, a global energy company, as Vice President of Human Resources and Public Affairs overseeing human resources strategy and services, including leadership and organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, HR information systems, and total rewards, as well as internal and external communications.
Before joining InterGen, Nick was Vice President of Human Resources at Comverse, Inc. in roles of increasing responsibility for over 15 years. He was the leader for talent management, talent acquisition, and global shared services while serving as an executive human resources business partner.
Previously, Nick held various roles in managing Human Resources for Boston Technology and Cabletron Systems.
Nick holds a BA in Management, Economics, and Sociology from Hartwick College, and received his MBA from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.
