Barrett Ayers

Barrett Ayers

President

Barrett joined Adhesion Wealth in 2004 and is one of the original founders of Adhesion Wealth. As President of Adhesion Wealth, Barrett oversees the strategic direction and long-term growth plans for the organization. During his time at Adhesion Wealth, Barrett has overseen the firm’s Product, Relationship Management, Investment Consulting, Model Management, and Portfolio Management groups.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Barrett served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Wachovia Securities and has held a number of senior-level strategic posts with Fidelity Investments and Broadridge.

Trey Reinhard

Chief Information Officer

As one of the original founders of Adhesion Wealth, Trey has been with the company from the beginning. Today, as Chief Information Officer, Trey oversees Adhesion Wealth's engineering, infrastructure, and product teams. In the early years, Trey was responsible for defining the original mission of the company as well as raising the capital to launch it.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Trey served as a technology consultant with EDS’ US Banking Division and a Systems Engineer with General Motors’ Plant Automation Division.

Kevin McCrossin

Senior Director, Business Development

Kevin has deep experience in managed accounts, investment outsourcing, and the independent advisory channel. As Senior Director of Business Development, he oversees our sales team and consults with firms to understand what they are trying to achieve and helps design their solution. Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Kevin held positions at Sungard, SEI, and New England Financial.

Kevin holds is B.S. in Business Management from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Jordan Darr

Director of Overlay Portfolio Management

As our Director of Overlay Portfolio Management, Jordan leads the strategic direction and implementation of Adhesion Wealth's Trading, Portfolio Management, Portfolio Operations, and Tax Management Teams. In addition, he oversees the execution of all investment-related activities with Adhesion Wealth.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Jordan spent over 15 years at LPL Financial, helping build and expand the firm's UMA and mutual fund/ETF wrap offering. Jordan holds an MBA and B.A. in Mathematics/Applied Science from the University of California, San Diego.

Alex Satterfield

Alex Satterfield

Senior Director, Advisor Success

Alex joined Adhesion Wealth in 2020 and heads the Advisor Success experience at Adhesion. Advisor Success includes the entire ecosystem of Advisors on the Adhesion platform, from client onboarding that sets RIAs up for success to ongoing white-glove service and strategic business partnering.

Prior to joining Adhesion Wealth, Alex spent 12 years at Vanguard, where he worked his way up through the ranks leading service teams through model transformations, managing a $25 billion book of business, defining Vanguard's 529 strategies, and eventually serving as Head of Client Transitions in the retail division. Alex holds a B.S. from Elon University and an MBA from Wake Forest University. In addition, he is a CFP® and is well-versed in the needs of RIAs and their clients.

Andrew Gradus

Senior Director, Investment Consulting

As the Senior Director of Investment Consulting, Andrew oversees the firm's asset manager platform, direct index construction, and tax transition capabilities.

Prior to joining Adhesion Wealth, Andrew spent 15 years at Nuveen/TIAA Investments, eventually serving as Senior Director of Client Portfolio Management. He focused on communicating the firm's asset management expertise to institutional clients, including fixed-income, equities, and commercial real estate strategies. Andrew holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and currently serves on the CFA Society North Carolina board of directors.

Jason Burgin

Manager, Systems Administrator

Jason joined Adhesion Wealth in 2012. As Manager of Adhesion Wealth’s Systems department, Jason oversees day to day IT operations. This includes maintaining the Adhesion Wealth platform as well as strategic and long-term planning for Adhesion Wealth's Systems. He is also responsible for keeping the department in line with the organizations growth and ensuring stability.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Jason served as a Project Manager and Systems Engineer at an IT Managed Services Provider for 5 years where he was responsible for designing and implementing solutions for small to medium business clients.

Robert Melancon

Robert Melancon

Director, Software Development

Robert joined Adhesion Wealth in 2006 and has been an integral part of overseeing the engineering of the Adhesion Wealth platform. As the Director of Development, he is responsible for developing and maintaining all of the various software applications that make up the Adhesion Wealth offering. His team of full-stack developers handle all aspects of the software development lifecycle, utilizing the latest tools and frameworks to provide robust applications for our clients.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, from 1995 to 2001, Robert built and ultimately sold an engineering firm that developed custom enterprise software solutions. His clients were companies from a variety of industries including Retail, Banking, and Oil & Gas Exploration.

Tammy Vernon

Senior Billing Analyst

Tammy joined Adhesion Wealth in 2006. As the Senior Billing Analyst, she oversees all billing operations and our advisor fee offerings. During her years at Adhesion Wealth, Tammy spent the majority as a QA Analyst. She continues to have a strong emphasis on performance measurement.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Tammy served as QA Analyst and Support for Schwab Performance Technologies, Inc and Infovisa, Inc. She is a CIPM® certificant.

Kimberly Olsson

Kimberly Olsson

Manager, Portfolio Operations

Kim joined Adhesion Wealth in 2018 and brought her years of experience in different facets of the wealth management field to the operations support group. As the Portfolio Operations Manager, she is responsible for defining and executing processes to support all trading and portfolio management functions. Her team of professionals provide daily middle-office services; from reconciliation to managing the myriad of changes essential to comprehensive portfolio management, her team sits at the core of Adhesion’s outsourcing solution.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, Kim was a Portfolio Manager and Trader for six years at Dividend Assets Capital, an RIA firm based in Bluffton, South Carolina.

JoHanna Diemar

JoHanna Diemar

Manager, Platform Support

JoHanna Diemar joined Adhesion Wealth as an Advisor Support Specialist and is currently the Manager of all support staff at Adhesion. As Manager, JoHanna is responsible for the Support Specialist staff and their impact on RIAs' experiences with Adhesion.

Prior to Adhesion Wealth, JoHanna was in Client and Operational Support Associate for RBC Capital Markets in New York, predominately providing middle-office trade support. She also brings experience from Brookfield Asset Management Investment in Chicago, where she supported equity trading operations. JoHanna holds her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Iowa.

Mark Donohue

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Donohue joined Vestmark in August 2018 as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overseeing Financial Planning, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Investor Relations.

Prior to Vestmark, Mark served nearly three years at Rapid7, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, in numerous executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Treasury & Investor Relations. He led the company through a strategic acquisition and helped stimulate the company to new business growth and stock appreciation. Before this, Mark held multiple Director-level positions at Cisco Systems and Starent Networks, navigating those companies through significant business transformations in the wake of shifting market dynamics in the mobile telecommunications industry.

He also worked at IDC, a technology research firm, and Ferris Baker Watts, a full-service investment bank, which was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2009. Mark held Series 7, 86, and 87 licenses and published sell-side research on numerous companies in the technology sector.

Mark began his career at Teradyne and Quantum, where he held financial management roles in both the Accounting and Corporate Finance groups.

Mark holds a BS in Business Administration & Finance from the University of New Hampshire and received both his MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.

Nick Thurlow

Chief People Officer

Nick Thurlow joined Vestmark in April 2019 as Chief People Officer, responsible for human resources strategy and services, including nurturing and strengthening Vestmark’s culture in support of its business objectives. He leads all talent management, employee engagement, compensation, benefits and organizational development programs to uphold the company’s reputation as a best place to work.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Nick spent 5 years at InterGen, a global energy company, as Vice President of Human Resources and Public Affairs overseeing human resources strategy and services, including leadership and organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, HR information systems, and total rewards, as well as internal and external communications.

Before joining InterGen, Nick was Vice President of Human Resources at Comverse, Inc. in roles of increasing responsibility for over 15 years. He was the leader for talent management, talent acquisition, and global shared services while serving as an executive human resources business partner.

Previously, Nick held various roles in managing Human Resources for Boston Technology and Cabletron Systems.

Nick holds a BA in Management, Economics, and Sociology from Hartwick College, and received his MBA from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.
